Cindy Miller believes Big Sky’s rapid growth requires thoughtful leadership that balances development needs with preserving the community’s unique mountain character. As a current BSOA Architecture Committee member, she focuses on bridging the diverse needs of this rapidly expanding town.
Cindy’s professional background in marketing, data analytics, and product development provides the analytical skills essential for BSOA’s complex decision-making. Her thirteen years on School Councils involved extensive work with state regulations and policy advocacy, experience that translates directly to navigating Big Sky’s regulatory environment.
For fifteen years, she contributed to Science Center policies and finance committees after its YMCA acquisition. Her twenty-two years leading an Investment Group developed expertise in financial stewardship and long-term planning—critical skills as BSOA manages growth-related investments and infrastructure decisions.
Originally from the St. Louis and Chicago areas, Cindy’s commitment to community service began when she settled in Massachusetts and joined two local boards within her first year, launching over twenty years of board experience.
Her decades of regulatory review, financial oversight, and community advocacy position her to help BSOA address Big Sky’s growth challenges while preserving what makes this mountain community special, ensuring thoughtful decisions that enhance rather than simply expand our community.
