Tim Sanders is a part-time Big Sky resident and has owned property in the Alpenglow Condominium Community since early 2025. He and his family chose Big Sky for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and strong sense of community.

As a Managing Director at Piper Sandler & Co., Tim brings more than twenty years of experience in financial advisory, restructuring, and governance. He has advised federal agencies, financial institutions, corporations, and court-appointed fiduciaries through complex financial challenges. He has also advised and served on public, private, nonprofit, and community association boards, including in Treasurer, President, and Board Chair roles.

Tim brings expertise in budgeting, strategic planning, and fiduciary oversight, along with an understanding of how investment and development affect communities. As a BSOA Board member, he is committed to thoughtful, financially responsible decisions that protect members’ interests and preserve the character and values that make Big Sky special.
